In the edition of 2019, U- Multirank compared 1711 universities from 96 countries worldwide. This independent ranking, created on the initiative of the European Commission in 2013, evaluated this year 41 Polish public and private universities, among which for the sixth time the University of Information Technology and Management in Rzeszow, which appears to be the only university in Podkarpackie province to have joined U-Multirank.

Calculating the average of data scores in given subcategories, we were ranked 4th, ahead of many renowned Polish universities, such as the Jagiellonian University, Warsaw University of Technology, AGH University of Science and Technology or Wroclaw University of Technology.

U-Multirank compares achievements of universities from all over the world in five basic categories – teaching and learning, research, transfer of knowledge, internationalization and regional engagement. This candidate-orientated, multidimensional and unique ranking proves, that UITM is better and better each year.

In 2018, U-Multirank gave free and open access to their collected data. Users, such as universities, can analyse their own achievements in various fields by comparing data. Candidates, who look for a university and fields of studies, use U-Multirank not only to find information quickly, but also to compare achievements of all classified universities in categories which are of their main interest.

The UITM is one of the leaders among Polish universities which focuses on internationalization. We have been rated in 33 sub-categories. In the edition of 2019 we received the highest grades – very good (A) and good (B) – in 15 sub-categories, thus improving our results from the previous year. In the Internationalization category, subcategory programmes conducted in a foreign language – first cycle studies (bachelor) – we received a very good grade.
